Leaving Cloughjordan
When I was leaving Cloughjordan by train on the little two carriage ‘clickety-clack’ (as I fondly like to call it) to Ballybrophy I sat looking out the window thinking over my time in Cloughjordan then these wonderful wind turbines backlight by the setting sun came into view. I loved seeing the blades of the large turbines move in lazy circular motion and with the slow pace of the train it felt like the blades of the turbines were pushing the black landscape below along. I felt like I was viewing one of those wonderful silhouette puppet shows. You can enjoy this little show by clicking on this link here: View from the train.
