Parting Pallas

So my journey has begun – the image attached is one of the last photos taken from my former studio at Pallas Projects/Studio’s before I packed up all my art materials, tools, pieces of art and put them all into storage, along with most of my possessions. Over the days that I packed and moved (and was supported in most extraordinarily generous ways) the reality of this journey dawned on me and I have to admit to really questioning what I’m doing! It was a series of ‘am I really sure’ moments. And now that a week has passed since I closed the door on my possessions, had some time to land and then started out on my journey I really feel a sense of excitement and possibility for the months to come.

I’m writing this from my first stop: the Cloughjordan eco-village where I am spending a few weeks working in the RED gardens here, learning about how to grow food for families and how it could be scaled up for larger groups (I will let you know about this in more detail in later blogs). At the same time I am learning about the community here through meeting the locals and am ironing out the details of my blog site!

So my journey has begun and its been wonderful to receive your donations!
